Snacking Rabbit
“Snacking Rabbit” was made during the summer as my veggies were starting to mature. I feared that one day the rabbits that roam in our neighborhood would make my veggie garden their buffet table.
For the background, I decided to go with a cartoonish feel, reminiscent of a well-known cartoon rabbit we grew up loving.

Munching Giraffe
This piece was made for and donated to the Shorelake Arts Exhibit for their 6X6NW. I was limited to a 6″ square format. It only left me room for just a bit of the giraffe’s neck and head, but as that is the most important part of him, it worked out well.

Up a Tree Panda
My favorite animal is the panda. I find them amusing, especially when such a large animal manages to make his way up a tree. He is not my first panda nor will he be my last. I definitely need to make one chomping down on bamboo.

Otter Wrapped in Kelp
I find otters irresistibly cute, playful, and downright amusing. I remember many hours spent at the Monterey Aquarium in California enjoying their antics.

Hungry Hummingbird
Even with living in the Pacific Northwest, we are very fortunate that the Anna’s Hummingbird spends all year here. Having a hummingbird feeder outside my office window is such a pleasure, especially when the sun hits it in such a way as to enjoy its metallic pink feathers.
I made this and donated it to the Shorelake Arts Exhibit for their 6X6NW. I was limited to a 6″ square format, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for my bird to flap around in.
